We present one of the jewels in the crown at Ses Oliveres Port de Sóller: our fish display. It is one of the attractions that most attracts the attention of diners, since, in this perfectly conditioned space, they find what is a real commitment for us: authentic Mediterranean cuisine and the freshest products from the market.

Every day we fill the Ses Oliveres display with the best we can find for our customers. A selection of fish and seafood that goes from the sea to the display, passing through the expert eye of the restaurant team.

Here you can find cap roig – scorpion fish, gilthead bream, witches, cuttlefish, squid… and all kinds of shellfish, including carabineros, lobsters and lobster, thin-shelled clams or oysters. And of course, the wonderful red shrimp, native to the port of Sóller.

We like to show the product before cooking it in what is a deep-rooted tradition in many coastal restaurants. In this way, diners can choose the product they want, with the complements they like best.

And if they have any doubts about the best way to taste it, our wait staff can advise them on the best way to cook each fish or seafood. It is not the same to grill, fry, bake or grill. Not all techniques are suitable for all fish, and vice versa.

The fish display is not only a sample of what the sea has to offer that day, but also a sign of respect for traditional Mallorcan cuisine and the desire to offer a genuine gastronomic experience.

The rice dishes at Ses Oliveres

The rice dishes at Ses Oliveres are one of the most emblematic dishes in our restaurant, and also the most suitable setting for tasting whatever you have chosen from the fish display.

There are many combinations, from a mixture of sea and land, to a dry rice dish with red prawns from Sóller and sipió, crayfish, a variety of vegetables… Which one do you fancy the most? We don’t want anyone to be left wanting to indulge themselves, so there are no limits.

This November we will be open every day, so we guarantee that you won’t miss the rice dishes, or the display, or any of the dishes on our menu – except for reasons of force majeure.

Now that it does look like it will be a little cooler, it may be the ideal time to come to the port of Sóller to eat one of these rice dishes, or any of our suggestions.

We advise you to book in advance, to make sure that there will be a table available for you.

And to end a good meal, what better than a spectacular dessert. You already know the Ses Oliveres cheesecake, and not long ago we told you about the chocolate brownie accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. Which of the two will you choose?
